Hello, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues.
When I look at your blog in Safari, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping.

Hey folks,

I would suggest to add Beans Theme to the list, (which are both built with Beans Theme Framework) on GTMetrix, Pindgdom etc.

I think it truly diverses to be in the list of one the fastest loading themes (if not the fastest) 😉

Oh my, I wish I had more sites to test all of these! They are amazing! When I was struggling with my WP site, I found my quick fix from here: . They have the speed index calculated VERY accurately, not to even mention factually pointed out TTFB. Thank god we have so many resources out there, teaching how to make your WP site run smoother. If anyone else cares for it, then you could also take a look at this good advice for enhancing WP site: http://www.copyblogger.com/make-wordpress-faster/ . In the end, it all comes down to some cleaning up! Even me, a not so tech-savy person, managed to boost my visitors user experience by a ton as after implementing these changes, my bounce rate went much lower. Good luck to everyone!

You might consider testing all of these themes with no content/images – it gives a better idea of the speed of the actual theme as opposed to the optimization of the images and content in the demo which doesn’t really have anything to do with the theme. Just my opinion 🙂

The demo has quite a few plugins installed which brings the score down. I just brought http://speedtest.generatepress.com over to our new server (thanks for the reminder). Completely default installation of WP and GP (with query strings removed).

99/100 on Pingdom
16 requests
514ms load time
143.1 kb page size

Tested on the Dallas server.

Of course, production sites with images and plugins will differ, but this shows the quality of the base theme 🙂

Nice, but I just ran a test on the demo at http://demo.generatepress.com/.
PageSpeed/YSlow score of 88/81. Still high, but not in the 90’s.
