I’m trying to set up a wedding planning user area for my website. I’m looking for a front end event plugin that will fit a responsive theme that users can manage themselves and every user gets the same project template. Ideally it should consist of checklists ,a vendor address book. Progress toolbars, I’d love a seating planner and an area to manage budget. Does anyone know how best to achieve this?

I mostly like the fact that all core features are included, unlike other plugins which charge extra for add-ons, and the support is great as well. I highly recommend it!

I am currently using Events+ http://wpeventsplus.com/ to manage my events and it works great. They have a new version 2.0 coming out next week with a ton of new features!

EventOn plugin looks so cute. So before I bought it I googled “eventon plugin review” just to double-check. Well, a number of unhappy reviews came up with, don’t believe me, check out his own plugins help queue. Well, glad I did because wow, it is really long and nobody is getting an answer! I noticed one saying it didn’t work with the newest version of WooCommerce, that is critical for me. Then another, and another. Well, if I am paying for a plugin I need support, not to mention WooCommerce integration. So, beware EventOn plugin…

Picatic just withdrew (Dec 21) a lot of options from the free, basic plan. Price-wise, they’re basically on par with EventBrite now once you include all the costs. It has sent us back to the drawing board for one price-sensitive client.

Great round up! I thought I’d mention our event ticketing widget at picatic.com. It comes in a couple of flavors, light and dark –and incorporates a preview of your event page cover photo. Its a clean, simple and free option for event organizers to ticket directly from their website.

Event Espresso tries to adopt your WordPress theme layout, based on the blog archive template. Try testing with a more responsive theme, but let us know if there are areas that don’t respond like you expect them to.
